Double eyelids open your eyes vertically.
Canthoplasty expands them horizontally.
Complete the "Golden Ratio" of the face.
Many patients are satisfied with their double eyelid crease but still feel their eyes look "short" or "stuffy." This is often due to the Mongolian Fold (Epicanthus) covering the inner corner or a short tail at the outer corner.
Canthoplasty is the architectural expansion of the eye frame. Korean surgeons are masters of the "Hidden Incision" technique, allowing you to lengthen the eyes without visible scarring.
We don't just cut skin. We release the ligament tension to prevent the skin from "sticking back" (re-adhesion), ensuring a permanent enlargement.
Extending the tail AND lowering the bottom line simultaneously. This creates the famous "Puppy Eye" look.
The ideal distance between your eyes should equal the length of one eye. We measure and adjust to fit this ratio.
For outer corners, we anchor the tissue to the orbital bone (periosteum) to prevent the "C-shape" rollback.
Diagnosis depends on where your eye feels "blocked."
Double eyelids are just the beginning.
Open the frame for a truly captivating gaze.
Minimizing scars while maximizing length.
We redesign the inner skin fold to expose the hidden 2-3mm of the eye. Crucially, the incision is made inside the lash line (conjunctiva side) so the scar remains hidden.
Combining Lateral extension with "Lowering" the bottom eyelid curve. Unlike old methods, we anchor the tarsal plate to the periosteum so the eye shape remains maintained without sticking back together.

The "Redness" fades quickly.
The white part of the eye (sclera) may look red or swollen (chemosis). This is temporary.
Tiny stitches at the corners are removed. Makeup can cover remaining redness immediately after.
Redness at the incision site turns pink, then skin color. Scars become very faint.
The tissue settles completely. The eye shape is stable and permanent.
Precision is key to avoiding "Red Flesh" exposure.
Old techniques often "stuck back" after 6 months. We perform thorough ligament release and bone fixation to prevent regression.
If the inner corner is cut too much, too much red flesh is exposed (scary look). We control the cut to the millimeter.
Incisions are made carefully to avoid damaging eyelash follicles, keeping your lashes intact.
